Congress Excursions
Thursday August 7 - Sunday August 10 Pre-Congress Excursion
Escape to the Canadian wilderness with Paddlefoot Easy Nature Retreat
This trip takes place at Parc LaVerendrye, Quebec. We will stay at campsites situated on beautiful islands, surrounded by the impressive Canadian Shield. The lakes of LaVerendrye are easy to paddle, and the activity levels are perfect for beginner canoeists. PaddleFoot guides are excellent instructors, and take time to ensure individuals become comfortable with canoeing. The paddle each day takes us to our new campsite and allows us to view wildlife and scenery along the way. Some of the wildlife you may see includes eagles, moose and deer, fox, giant turtles, the great blue Heron, and the loon. All food is prepared over an open fire. Accommodation is in tents. You must provide your own sleeping bag.
Cost: CAN $428
Limited space for 8-12 persons so book early.
