PROPOSALS FOR PRESENTATION

Topics and Session types

Participants are invited to submit proposals on any area of fluency and fluency disorders. These could include theoretical, practical and cultural aspects. Submissions directly related to the conference main themes are particularly encouraged.

The following format options are available:

A. Research papers (25 minutes presentation + 5 minutes questions), reporting research studies

B. Seminars/workshops/short courses (of either 60, 120 or 180 minutes) allowing a more extensive presentation, demonstration or discussion of research, clinical programmes, clinical and education issues, or other aspects related to fluency and fluency disorders.

C. Posters, reporting information in a way that facilitates interaction between the presenter and participants.

 

Submission Guidelines

The official language of the congress is English. Only proposals and presentations in English will be accepted. Authors submitting a proposal commit themselves that at least one of the authors will register and attend the Congress.

To submit a proposal, participants must complete the submission proposal form (see below) that includes the following sections:

1. Author information
2. Title (not to exceed 10 words)
3. Abstract (50-100 words excluding title and author information)
4. Summary (500-1000 words excluding title and author information)
5. Programme session type requested
6. Audiovisual equipment

    Submission and deadlines

    Presentation submissions must be in electronic form and are to be send by email to John Van Borsel (john.vanborsel@UGent.be)

    The period for submission is from October 1st 2008 till March 15th, 2009. Submissions will be evaluated by the programme committee on the bases of quality and relevance to conference participants. The corresponding author will be notified of acceptance beginning of April 2009.
