Kirsten Howells trained as a speech and language therapist in the UK and worked within the UK’s National Health Service for 5 years before moving to Norway. During her years in Norway, Kirsten worked at Bredtvet Resource Centre in Oslo, where she specialised in assessment and treatment related to stuttering and cluttering, and provided supervision and guidance for clinicians working with dysfluency across the south-east of Norway. Back in the UK, Kirsten now works for STAMMA (the British Stammering Association), coordinating their support services and contributing to STAMMA's campaigns.
